Here I am!

I'm Mel! I am currently a senior at UNC....GO BEARS! My major is IDLA with an emphasis in English, and two minor’s one in Elementary Ed and the other in Reading. I really enjoy writing, however I feel that I am not very good at it. Some teachers have said that I am and others have said that I am not so I am unsure what to think. I enjoy reading as long as it is interesting and not dry. I hate boring readings which are often associated, unfortunately, with school. I look forward to giving this class and blog my best work, as well as improving my writing skills.
